Grateful for 36 years - The rain in my heart...

Source: joyshope.com via JavaJane o
I am not able to write much tonight.. I'm just not ready to....but I can say this:
At around 2pm yesterday our little world lost a beautiful person...
I was blessed to have my  gorgeous and determined cousin influence my life for my part 32 years......
The world is a better place because she was here and put her stamp on it...
Its not fair that it had to be so cruel and take her to soon....
I don't have many female role models in my life, but she was one.... determined, confident and full of grace..Never afraid to speak her mind and to always expect the best in life .... and more importantly never ever afraid to ask for a discount, using her plight to get it! These attributes helped her in her battle to do it her way, and her way only....
I am grateful for the last conversation I had with her, even though she was so sick, it meant so much to me... that will always be with me...
I will write more when I am ready (and wearing waterproof mascara, as just writing this has left me with tears streaming down my face)
I am just so thankful that she was in my life....

Here are the lyrics to one of her
favourite songs..

The Rain in My Heart - Mick Thomas

If you please Ive got nothing to say
That can make this play and your blues go away
Times flies but It don't heal
You can't hide what anybody would feel...
Ohhh I got the sun in my eyes, I got the wind in my face, I got the rain in my heart
But I'm falling in life not falling apart,
Now the task at hand is the life that we lead, it is the rent that we pay, the mouths that we feed ...
Its not wrong to cry, its wrong to weep while life passes by
Ohhh I got the sun in my eyes, I got the wind in my face, I got the rain in my heart
But I'm falling in life not falling apart,
Out the back in the shed, there's a surfboard that we will not sell, but nobody will ride, lets leave it out there don't bring it inside
I got the sun in my eyes, the wind in my face, the rain in my heart
But I'm falling in my life not falling apart,

Ohhh I got the sun in my eyes, I got the wind in my face, I got the rain in my heart
But I'm falling in life not falling apart......

Until next time.... Life is to f*&%ing short...
